Project Goals and Mission

The project is dedicated to the independent analysis of socio-economic processes in Northern Europe and Russia, with a focus on the transformation of northern economies under the pressure of global changes. Particular attention is given to the development of Arctic regions, shifts in the energy, transport, and natural resource sectors, and the impact of international competition on the economic resilience of the North.

Key objectives of the project:

  • To analyze structural changes and sectoral dynamics in the economies of Northern European countries and Russian regions;
  • To assess the influence of global economic and technological trends on the development of the Arctic;
  • To provide objective, research-based information for the academic and expert community.

The project adheres to the principles of academic independence and promotes the development of international dialogue on the economy and sustainable development of the North.
